Hardware

Cosmic-1A is an autonomous, all-electric mobile robot designed for rugged utility-scale solar construction. It combines a heavy-duty industrial manipulator—capable of lifting large-format PV modules—with a robust all-terrain drivetrain. Using stereo vision and GPS, the system navigates dynamic job sites with precision, autonomously picking and installing solar modules directly from a trailer onto racking.
